Last week’s installments of AHS 13 were as frightening as we’ve come to expect, with an extra dash of razzle-dazzle (Jessica Lange! The Black Dahlia! The number 13, for some reason!). So what did this week bring? Below, find quite literally every thought I had while watching Season 13, Episode 4 of American Horror Story, titled “Is That All There Is?”:
- If Sarah Paulson is at the portal to hell, I would still like to go.
- Very chic red dining table!
- Really puts the Red Table Talk to shame.
- So the in-home care patient is…a demon of some sort?
- Can’t say I love his general vibe.
- Sorry, is that Paul Anthony Kelly?
- Still fine as hell out of JFK Jr. drag, I see!
- Aw, it’s nice that everyone’s visiting their mom (Jessica Lange).
- Even though they’re all legendary killers and ghouls.
- These opening credits remain the scariest in the business.
- Why are bumps coming out of flesh like that?!?
- This lighting is giving “excellent gay bar.”
- Speaking of excellent gay bar entertainment, Jessica Lange doing “Is That All There Is?” in a little suit?
- Yes, diva!
- This is a long scene, admittedly, but I’m not mad at it.
- Not the Constance/Cordelia mother-off!
- Who are these cloaked figures?
- “Tonight, a celebration of whores, miscreants, and profanities.” Yay!
- The Jezebel Ball?
- Are we all going to leave feminist comments online?
- Damn, it’s Hypodermic Sally!
- And Eva Braun!
- And Wallis Simpson!
- Well, she did have all those Nazi Germany ties.
- Wow, it turns out I’ve always needed to see Sarah Paulson as Mamie Eisenhower.
- “Margaret Thatcher, school milk snatcher.”
- Yes, Constance! Stand up for those Irish hunger strikers! Up the RA, etc.!
- Evan Peters is still so boyish and cute.
- I mean, in a demon-y way.
- Wait, so…where do these ladies go when they jump into the fire?
- I want to play cards with John Waters.
- Hearing this man say “reluctant piece of trade” is crazy.
- Nobody in this world looks better smoking a cigarette than Jessica Lange.
- Why is Paul Anthony Kelly dressed like he’s on Buffy?
- I, too, would sell my soul to this man, most likely.
- LOL, “Lillith Fair.”
- Hail Satan, indeed!
