Update: Ja’Marr Chase has officially been ruled out by the Cincinnati Bengals.
Ja’Marr Chase is down after a scary tackle in the second quarter Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Chase caught a pass in the left flat from quarterback Joe Burrow, and as he was trying to pick up yardage upfield, his facemask was grabbed by a defender. As the Cincinnati wide receiver was twisted to the turf, he was then hit in the upper body by a second defender, staying down on the turf after the awkward sequence.
