Also taking in her first Chloé show was Claire Danes. “I was thinking, ‘My three year old daughter would want everything’—and I mean that in the best way possible,” the actress mused of the collection, adding that she gravitates toward the label because it’s “deeply feminine, yet steeped in strength.” It’s a flying visit to the fashion capital for the booked-solid Danes. “I’m filming a sequel to a movie I was in 20 years ago, The Family Stone, and The Beast in Me is coming back for a second season,” she said.
Though the invite said 8:30 p.m., some 90 minutes later, Kamali’s birds of paradise were still flitting around the downstairs bar excitedly catching up over glasses of white wine and a soundtrack of soft disco. The labyrinthine halls of the centuries-old institution (said to once contain hidden tunnels to the French Senate so politicians could secretly visit their lovers) were thronged as multi-generational guests including Natasha Lyonne, Maude Apatow, Pat Cleveland, Caroline Trentini, and Natalia Bryant arrived in droves.
Front-row fixture Camille Rowe hung out in a corner, gabbing with Pixie Geldof. “I’ve such a long history with the brand as I starred in the fragrance campaign for [Chloé Eau de Parfum] in 2011,” she said, dropping back into character to demonstrate the signature aughts-era pose of leaning, dreamily, on a giant perfume bottle. (The ad’s photographers, Inez and Vinoodh, were also in attendance.) Now that she’s a new mom, having welcomed her baby boy during the summer, a night out at the old-school Parisian haunt with friends was extra welcome. Meanwhile, mere centimeters away, a newly minted Chloé girl was just receiving her wings: Apple Martin, who had graced the runway hours earlier, twirled in her gauzy periwinkle dress in front of someone’s phone ring light.
A dinner with hearty courses of foie gras, sea bass carpaccio, chateaubriand au poivre, and rigatoni with morel cream stretched into the wee hours, until the restaurant’s famous chocolate soufflé eventually arrived around midnight while the room was in a haze of cigarette smoke. Illustrating the extent of the eclectic guest list, Chloé ambassador and K-pop star Anna Tanaka from Meovv—wearing her “favorite look” from the Fall 2025 collection—dug into the decadent dessert seats away from English chanteuse Jorja Smith.
“I’m excited for people to feel the freedom and emotion in this collection,” Kamali told Vogue. “It came from a very instinctive place for me, from all my Chloé obsessions, returning to the things I love about the house, the details and techniques that I find myself coming back to again and again. I wanted to bring all of those feelings together without overthinking them.”
