The proposed schedule for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) has reportedly been finalized, with the official announcement expected next week. Cricket fans across Pakistan and around the world are eagerly waiting for confirmation of the tournament dates, venues, and match fixtures.
According to sources, the opening match of PSL 11 will be played on 26 March between defending champions Lahore Qalandars and the new franchise Hyderabad Kingsmen at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
PSL 11 Final and Playoffs in Lahore
The historic Gaddafi Stadium Lahore will also host the PSL 11 Final on 3 May, along with two playoff matches. The venue has traditionally hosted many major PSL matches and remains one of the most iconic cricket stadiums in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, sources indicate that Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host the first qualifier match of the tournament.
Tournament Format for PSL 11
The tournament will feature eight teams, and the competition will be played in two phases:
First Phase
- Each team will play 7 matches.
Second Phase
- Teams will be divided into two groups, with each team playing three additional matches within their group.
