Bo Bragason is feeling “blessed.” Yes, her flight out to Milan was delayed and yes, she only has 48 hours in the city before she has to get back to work (“I’m a busy girl”), but none of that is dampening her mood. The actor is about to attend her first fashion week—kicking off her front row career with the Prada spring 2027 show, no less. “It’s so insane,” she says, laughing. “I really can’t believe it.”

Bragason—who stole hearts as the carefree Oona in the hit teen drama Sterling Point this summer—is particularly excited about being a Prada attendee. So much so that she confesses she couldn’t sleep last night. “Prada? Yeah, it’s sick,” she calls to tell me from her hotel the day before. “It’s literally the best introduction [to fashion].” For the occasion, a relaxed charcoal grey suit worn over a crisp shirt in powder blue. “It’s a power suit type of moment,” Bragason confirms. “It’s very androgynous, which I love.”

With its distinct Julia-Roberts-at-the-1990-Golden-Globes vibe, Bragason knew the mannish suit was the one the second she saw it. “I didn’t even try anything else on,” she says. “If I feel cool, I feel good,” the 22-year-old says. And in this Prada suit, “I feel cool. I feel good. I feel confident!”

That’s not to say her style has always been so understated. Growing up in Manchester, Bragason went to indie gigs with her sister and had a “big neon phase” as a teen. At one point, she owned around 20 fluorescent bucket hats, she reveals. “I would wear them religiously,” she remembers. “It was a time in my life… I’m glad I went through it. Never again, though.” These days, she’s more drawn to all things oversized, partially inspired by one of her favorite artists, Billie Eilish. Though she’d be just as comfortable in a miniskirt and a tight top, too. Because, as she said before: “If I feel cool, I feel good.”
