Let the Games Begin! Today, Elle Fanning began press for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping in earnest, and clearly, she’s going all in on method dressing.

Fanning, who stars in the Hunger Games prequel as Effie Trinket (played in the original series by Elizabeth Banks), embraced Effie’s hallmark avant-garde maximalism for an event in London. For this occasion, she and stylist Samantha McMillen chose a Robert Wun dress from the fall 2026 couture collection.

Fanning looked the part of a music box ballerina in a pale pink dress with a lace-up corset and a full tulle tea-length tutu skirt. Over the dress’s soft base was a second hardshell trompe l’oeil bodice with a sculpted, scalloped hem and open cups.
