From Taylor Swift’s lob to Penélope Cruz’s “boyfriend bob,” there’s been plenty of celebrity chops this last while. Florence Pugh, however, is one who is staying committed to the extra-long length.
The actor arrived in Venice yesterday to the 83rd International Venice Film Festival in full swing. Disembarking from a water taxi, the actor wore her hair in a textured ponytail high up on the crown of her head, tied up with a printed scarf that fluttered in the canal breeze. The accessory added a bit of signature personality to an otherwise classic look: Pugh wore a black Max Mara tank and ruffled tailored pants, angular Max Mara sunglasses, a small black Chloé Paddington bag, and a suite of Bulgari jewelry.

Later, Pugh made an appearance at Bulgari’s Le Parfum launch party. Her hair, styled by Hyungsun Ju, was gelled up into a wet-look quiff, pinned delicately at the crown, with her longer and almost waist-length hair falling in soft tendrils down her back. It’s a hair silhouette that’s become quite signature for Pugh, but more so when her hair was much shorter. Colorist Matt Rez is responsible for her golden hour-reflective shade of blonde.
The rest of her glam was similarly high-impact, leaning into the peachy tones and sparkle of Bulgari jewels and the Max Mara twisted crop top and embellished skirt. Makeup, by Alex Babsky, focused on shimmery inner corners on the eyes, a sharp highlight, and an almost metallic pink lip.
